Package switchgear chambers KSO of 20 kV voltage are launched into production

In 2014 package switchgear chambers KSO2-20 have been launched into production. The chambers are intended for application in electric power distribution networks of up to 24 kV voltage and 50 Hz frequency alternating current.

Distinctive features of the chambers:

 

1. Quality. The chambers are produced of high quality materials, and up-to-date components are applied.

 

2. Reduced overall dimensions of the chambers due to application of gas-insulated circuit breaker-disconnector and power, vacuum, gas-insulated circuit breakers of space-saving dimensions.

 

3. Long service life. . The chambers are produced of galvanized steel. External parts are covered with powder coating of high resistance to atmospheric and mechanical exposure. No welded joints are applied at production of the chambers frames - only rivets and bolt joints.

 

4. Operational and assemble simplicity and usability. The chamber is of a single-end service design allowing its arranging near the walls. Cable compartment door is equipped with inspection holes for visual check of cable connections and fuses actuation indicators.

 

5.Ultimate safety. Safety is insured by design solutions as well as considered interlocking system preventing attending personnel faulty actions. The chamber high resistance for arcing if there is an internal accident promotes damage limitation and reliably protects the attending personnel from arc.
